Submitting your event
Events on Maker Studio are hosted by makers, not by us — you create and manage your event entirely on Luma, our events partner. Here's what each field on that form actually does, and how it shows up here.
Maker Studio doesn't vet organizers and never handles payment — everything happens on Luma, directly between you and your attendees. Keep that in mind if you're charging for tickets, since we won't be able to help with refunds.
What each field means
Tips for a good listing
- Mention your tools by name in the description — that's literally how the machine-type filter finds your event.
- Add a real cover photo. It becomes the card art everywhere your event shows up on Maker Studio.
- Hiding the exact address is fine — the city still shows, so people can tell it's nearby before they RSVP.
